The former president's Family Member Seeks Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA First Appearance

The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile supporters when she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, received a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, owns multiple courses worldwide and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially told me to compete and have fun," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, making him rather occupied."

While still amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions this year and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with her mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.

"And he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to play, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that involving Kai helps introduce golf to wider groups, especially reaching younger fans.

The young star boasts a massive following and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.
