Formal charges have been brought against two men related to a suitcase robbery where a suspected pepper spray led to people being hurt at the major London air hub.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.
These accusations come after an probe of an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, police said.
A three-year-old girl was caught up in the incident during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.
